There are a lot of things about this book that I feel have been intentionally kept secret, as the plot went literally nowhere I was expecting it to. I LOVED Honey Trap and I’m willing to bet the contents of my bank account that I’ll love Dead Drop even more. It turns out, my favorite Tate James will always be the next one I read. I should know by now that Tate James is the queen of the surprise reveal and that I can never finish one of her books without clamoring for the next, but damn this one took me by surprise.Įvery single time I read a Tate book, I think to myself “Wow this is my new favorite of hers,” and every single time I’m wrong.
